The engine on this 2007 Mustang model is force-fed and air-and-fuel mixture through a supercharger that gives 8.5 pounds per square inch of boost. The GT500 has a cast-iron engine block and aluminum, four-valve cylinder heads, piston rings and bearings. It has a six-speed manual transmission available that makes driving a pleasure through its broad torque curve.
