2004 Nissan Altima

The 2004 Nissan Altima remains unchanged this year. Nissan's top-selling model is based on the Maxima but is less expensive and comes with a 4-cylinder engine option unlike the Maxima.

There are four Altima models to choose from: the base 2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SL and top-of-the-line 3.5 SE, the sole V6 carrying model. All models offer manual or automatic transmission except the SL which is only automatic.

The optional braking and airbag package pairs an ABS (anti-lock breaking system) with front torso side air bags and head-protecting curtain side airbags. This option is available for all trims except the base 2.5-liter model.
