2004 Chevrolet Colorado

The 2004 Chevrolet Colorado is part of GM's new generation of small pickup trucks. Colorado and its twin the GMC Canyon are slightly bigger than the Chevy S-10s they replace, but not quite as big as the Dodge Dakota.

Colorado is available in regular, extended and crew cab form, with a 175-horsepower 2.8-liter base engine, and a 220-horsepower 3.5-liter 5-cylinder. Anti-lock brakes are standard.

Other new features for 2004:

1. Head-protecting curtain side airbags for all rows.

2. Elevated-ground-clearance Z71 off-road suspension.

3. Traction control is an option on 2WD models.

4. Leather seats, OnStar assistance and satellite radio are available.
